Charging equipment

There is one charger in the locker that opens with a library card and pin code. The charger has several charging heads. The device to be charged is left in the cabinet while charging.

Copying machine

You will need a library card for printing, photocopying, and scanning documents. The library card makes it easy for you to register for the printing system. You only need to register once, and your identifiers will be valid until further notice. The employees help you when required.
You can photocopy up to 20 black-and-white or two color sheets per day. Printing and copying are free of charge.
You can only print from library computers. It is not possible to print using your own device.

Digital magazine service

You can read Finnish newspapers and foreign newspapers and magazines in digital format on designated tablets at the library.

Laptop computers

Anyone over the age of 15 may borrow a laptop computer to be used in the library with their library card. The loan period is a maximum of two hours. Laptop computers cannot be reserved in advance. It is possible to print from the laptop computers.

Scanners

You will need a library card for scanning documents. The library card makes it easy for you to register for the printing system. The files are scanned to the e-mail address provided when registering. You only need to register once, and your identifiers will be valid until further notice. The employees help you when required.
There is also A4-sized scanner which is located next to one of the library computers. You can save scanned files to your email.
Scanning is free of charge.

You can use a keyboard to read e-magazines.
You can use a Cyrillic or Arabic keyboard at the library. You can use keyboards in other languages by asking the staff.

Rainbow bookshelves
The rainbow shelf (sateenkaarihylly) refers to a shelf in the library's premises, where there are loanable materials about sexual and gender minorities. Its purpose is to improve the equality and discoverability of rainbow materials in libraries. Homophobic and transphobic material does not belong on the rainbow shelf.
On the rainbow shelves of the Martinlaakso library, you can find material in Finnish, Swedish and Russian. The rainbow shelf for adults and youth is located in the adult department. Children's rainbow shelf in the children's section. Rainbow literature can also be found among other material. -

Registering as a Celia online customer

Audiobooks in the Celia library are intended for people with various challenges with reading. As an online customer, you can use your device to listen to any of the 40,000 audiobooks in the library collection, and as a CD club customer audiobooks will be delivered to you at home every month. You will need a picture ID for registration. People under the age of 15 need a guarantor.
