Library introduction
The Perholinna Library-Youth House was designed by architect Saara Juola. The building was opened in 1993. The building's premises are named after the butterfly, inspired by the municipality's coat of arms, which depicts a butterfly. The Admiral's Hall is adorned with a wall hanging "Unwritten Story" designed by Vuokko Oja and a series of wooden reliefs "Early Development" designed by Aimo Vähäkainu. The traditional children's, youth and adult sections extend around the hall, while the magazine section offers fresh reading material.
